We have a whole bundle of new guests to announce–including the fact that Pandora Celtica is once again joining us! We’re excited to have them!
This year’s Spotlight Guests now include Kevin J. Anderson, Tracy Hickman, and Trai Cartwright!
Tracy Hickman is well known to the gaming and fantasy community, especially for his Dragonlance novel series. He also hosts a really cool event called Killer Breakfast, and this year we’re bringing it to AnomalyCon! Saturday morning at 9AM for an extra $5 attendees can join Tracy for donuts, coffee, and the chance to pit their level one characters against ultimate death! Here’s a cool explanation of what Killer Breakfast looks like.
Kevin J Anderson is probably one of the most published writers of our time. He’s well on his way to overtaking Isaac Asimov, and he’s certainly one of the best sources we can think of for both self publishing and big name publishing. He’s written Dune, Star Wars, Steampunk, and so much more.
Trai Cartwright is singlehandedly the coolest lady you haven’t met yet. She’s been batting in the big leagues of Hollywood for years, written, edited and pitched every genre under the sun, and she teaches amazing masterwork classes to teens and grownups alike. She knows how to hit it big, and she’s here to share the knowledge.
Peter J Wacks is the local expert on time travel, or so his doppelganger would have you believe. We’ve heard from his writing side, but this year he’s here to talk about self publishing, editing, and more.
Our programming this year is growing by leaps and bounds, and we’re so excited to share all of our writing, editing, publishing and business tracks with our audience. Don’t miss all the fun! Pre-registration is still only $25 for the whole weekend, and tickets for Killer Breakfast are available at registration!
BY CHANCE YOU HAVEN’T READ THE ANNOUNCEMENT HIGHER UP ON THIS PAGE:
Kevin J. Anderson has been asked by his publisher to attend one of the largest comic cons in the US as their author guest of honor to launch MENTATS OF DUNE (with Brian Herbert also attending) and his steampunk graphic novel CLOCKWORK ANGELS from Boom! As such he will not be able to attend AnomalyCon, but James A. Owen of Imaginarium Geographica and Starchild fame has graciously agreed to take his place.
